An interesting article on HR magazine’s website recently - commenting on the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development's (CIPD) sustainable organisation performance report - suggested that reducing resources allocated to improving employee engagement could cause organisations long term damage. In this article we offer another view.
In principle we agree with the view that reducing resources allocated to employee engagement could have an adverse effect on the business as a whole, however we believe – even with limited resources – organisations can deploy cost effective tools to maintain levels of engagement. One such tool is the total reward statement.
Why make a statement?
When pay is frozen, hours restricted or redundancies loom, employee morale takes a hit. In such times, total reward statements are invaluable to communicate financial and non-financial rewards in a clear, compelling and personalised way.
It's easy and cost effective with the right partner...
At Prolog Print Media, we can help deliver cost effective and highly personalised total reward statements. We take single or multiple data files from existing reward and benefit systems and filter the data to print and/or present online interactive total reward statements.
We can vary statement designs, content and methods of distribution for different groups and promote or hide benefits so each person sees just what is relevant to them.
We deliver all this at sensible prices without the financial burden of new systems or consultancy fees allowing organisations to maintain a measured level of engagement with employees without breaking the bank.
