24th February 2011
On the 4th April 2011 Royal Mail stamps and franked mail costs are set to rise. In this article we explain how to not only stave off this price rise, but to potentially reduce your postal spend by up to 25% too.
In April Royal Mail will increase the cost on standard First and Second class stamps weighing up to 100g by 5p and 4p respectively. Franked mail will also rise by 3p for standard First and Second Class items. If your organisation regularly mails documents this increase will only add to the pressure felt by already restricted budgets, but there is another way.
Switch your document printing from in-house to Prolog Print Media’s print outsourcing service and you could benefit from the reduced mailing costs we can secure as a volume producer.
We also use one of the UK’s leading DownStream Access (DSA) suppliers for the collection, sortation and part distribution of our mail. Working with a DSA allows us to offer you a guaranteed two day delivery service and to provide competitive mailing rates but with the benefit of using Royal Mail postal workers for the last 10 miles of delivery to present a consistent service to the recipient.
The savings available vary - based on volume - but we are confident that reductions of up to 25% can be achieved simply by switching to our print outsourcing service and using our DSA supplier.
